Vectum Dinner: Pasta Workshop

Pasta! A students favourite meal! But how do you make it? Join us coming Tuesday and find out how to make handmade pasta. You will be guided by Joshua and Alexander through the easy to follow process on making pasta. We will also show you how to make a simple vegetarian tomato sauce, a perfect base for any pasta lover.

This workshop will be given through zoom, which will start at 18:00. You can collect the ingredients, for free, on a later to be announced location and date in Maastricht, or you can simply buy them yourself. If you do want to pick them up, please bring your own bag to carry them in. You can find the ingredients that we will be using below, but you can always include some of your own magic ;). Do note that the sign-ups close on Monday at 12:00, so we can prepare better to give you an even better experience!

Ingredients (Approx 2 people):

Pasta:

  • 2 large eggs

  • 213 grams of all-purpose/semolina flour (1.5 cups)

Sauce:

  • 1 onion

  • 2 Garlic cloves

  • 1 small tin of tomato paste (70g)

  • Carrot (good-sized)

  • 2-3 tomatoes

We assume you have:

  • Salt 

  • Olive Oil

  • Sugar

  • Oregano basil salt

Ideas to include for yourself:

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Bay leaf

  • Cheese (Parmesan etc.)

  • Minced meat (Vegetarian or pork/beef)
