Self-Care Week

Feeling stressed-out lately? Do you feel less motivated to do work for university? We’ve all been there… For the first time, Vectum will be holding The Self-Care Week, where you can participate in different workshops to finish the year off on a high note. During the week of the 15th of March, we will be holding several workshops ranging from yoga classes to motivational coaching. You are free to join as many classes as you like and you can sign up for the different events using the button below the texts.

Motivation Coaching Workshop
Monday 15th of March 15:00-16:00
This workshop, given by Jeroen Tesser, will be about maintaining a healthy motivational spirit, see more below.
Talking Motivation
Have you been procrastinating lately or experiencing a lack of motivation in general, caused by the lockdown or by other factors. So far, you might have been trying to deal with these all by yourself. However, everyone could use a little help from someone tagging along. In this group coaching session, you as participants help each other to refocus on what is important and to find things that can help you to remain motivated. In this light, we will also address the topic of stress and burn-out and look at some simple tips to prevent a burn-out.

Yoga Class
Wednesday 17th of March 13:30-14:00
In this class, a yoga instructor will guide you through a yoga routine suitable for all people with different kinds of yoga experience. Yoga is the best way to get some exercise in for the day and to get a clear mindset.

Sophrology Workshop
Thursday 18th of March 15:00-16:00
This is a unique workshop where you will be guided by an expert in the field of sophrology. This field of study combines Eastern wisdom with Western science to help with stress, sleeping issues and provide a healthy mindful living.

Hello Burn-out, my old friend
Friday 19th of March 16:00-17:30
This workshop is again given by Jeroen Tesser, where he will go more into depth about being overworked and burn-outs. For this workshop, there will be a maximum of 8 spots available, bear this in mind.

Hello Burn-out, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again… it could be a line from that well-known Simon & Garfunkel sung. If you have very low energy, you probably won't regard your burn-out as your friend at all. In this workshop for max. 8 participants, you will have the opportunity to talk and share your questions and experiences on the topic of stress and burn-out. We will look at what you gain from taking a friendly perspective towards what you are going through. You also learn how to 'communicate' with your burn-out to help you recover better. Lastly, I will also share some of my personal experiences with recovering from burn-out and finding the way back to balance.
